Aqua fresca, Vino Puro. As the old Italian adage states, the water must be fresh but the wine has to be pure. This statement rings true today, not only in Italy but all over the world.

The globalization of wine and its industry is growing exponentially. As a small restaurant owner in the heart of Sonoma Valley, my passion for and knowledge of wine has grown tremendously. In addition, I have access to great California wines, which comprise the majority of my wine list. However, my experience in the restaurant business has allowed me to taste some phenomenal wines from other parts of the world including Spain, Argentina, and South Africa to name a few. There are so many wines to select from that it is impossible for me to bring all of these wines to our list at the restaurant. Along with my partner and wine enthusiast, Thaddeus Brennan, we hope to find some hidden gems from around the world, and bring them to you, our customers and fellow wine enthusiasts. The increasingly rare combination of quality and value in wine still exists, and Enoteca Della Santina provides an opportunity to receive high quality wines at a fair price. We have accounted for possible wine availability issues by creating some flexibility. We will offer four to six bottles of wine every other month for a cost of $79 to $99 plus shipping and handling.
